Privacy Policy

Last Updated: August 7, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Vroom Solar, Inc. (“Vroom Solar,” “Vroom Power,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects,

uses, shares, and protects information in connection with our website, vroom-power.com (the “Site”), our Vroom

Power mobile application (the “App”), and our sales, quoting, and customer support interactions. This policy applies

to information collected through the Site, through the App, and through direct contact with us (email, phone, or in-

person/field engagements). It does not apply to information collected by third-party sites we may link to, or to

information you provide to government purchasing systems or portals outside our control.

By using the Site or the App, or otherwise providing us information, you agree to the collection and use of information

as described in this policy. This policy tells you:

• What choices are available to you regarding the use of your data.

• The security measures in place to protect your information from misuse.

• How you can access, correct, or request deletion of your information.

• Your rights under applicable privacy laws, and how to exercise them.

Information We Collect

We are the primary custodians of the information collected through the Site, the App, and direct contact with us, and

we act as the data controller for that information. We collect information in the following ways:

Information you provide directly. This includes your name, title, agency/organization, email address, phone number,

mailing address, and any other information you voluntarily give us via a contact form, quote request, email, or phone

call.

Order and quoting information. If you request a quote or place an order, we collect the shipping and billing details,

purchase order or contract information, and payment information necessary to fulfill that request.

Account information (App). When you create an account in the App, we collect your email address and a password

(securely managed through our authentication provider, Firebase Authentication). We do not have access to your

plaintext password.

Device and energy data (App). When you connect your Vroom Power device via Bluetooth, the App collects and

stores:

• Solar energy production and consumption data

• Battery, grid, and backup power status

• Outlet-level power usage

• Device firmware version

• System health data (interior temperature, humidity, voltage)This data is used to display your energy usage, generate historical reports, and provide recommendations within the

App.

Location information (App). If you choose to enter a zip code for solar forecast features, we use that information to

retrieve local weather and solar forecast data. We do not collect your device's precise GPS location. Your Bluetooth

permission may separately be used by your device's operating system to discover nearby Bluetooth devices,

consistent with standard Android/iOS Bluetooth requirements; we do not use this permission to track your location.

Push notification data (App). If you enable notifications, we store a device-specific push notification token so we can

send you alerts (such as firmware update availability, power overload warnings, or backup power status changes).

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we (and service providers acting on our behalf) may

automatically collect technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, referring/exit pages,

and pages viewed, using cookies, log files, and similar technologies. See “Cookies and Tracking Technologies” below.
